"Lin, do you even know how to use that thing?" Time snickered with his commonplace, eerie grin, the red rings of his eyes flashed as he wrapped his arm around the back of her neck.
"Well... I don't know. You. Tell. Me." The young Ancient dragged out, resting the hand holding the armed weapon on his chest.
Their eardrums shuddered with the deafening blast of the gunshot. The scent of ignited gunpowder stung their nostrils. Time chuckled a little louder this time. His ear burned like dragon fire and he felt the warm trickle of blood make its way down his neck.
Lin simply smiled, letting him pull her closer with a jerk. "You.... You're going to pay for that." He sneered, letting the tone of a near growl show through. Time let a knife fall from his sleeve into his hand and pressed it into her cheek. The soft flesh gave into the blade and made way for bright violet essence to seep out and soak her collar.
"Oh, come on." Lin smiled. "I know you can do better than that."

Okay so! Yes, this was TOTALLY inspired my Melani Martinez's song Mad Hatter and also this base on Pinterest - clicky click cuz they came to me at the EXACT same time as I was chillin' the other morning! These two characters Time   and Lin   (in the middle) are quite the pair but the term psychosis only scratches the surface of describing their distinct behaviors when they go head to head like this. Lin, being the Ancient spawn she is, tends to bleed the color of her magic in whatever conglomerated mix it may be, so purple bloods! Other than that, they just creepy af........
